Simon: Further tests at Onsala with libvma but results inconclusive - throughput same as without kernel bypass. New 100GE system to arrive soon. Richard: Installed libvma from Mellanox on the DTN nodes. 95Gbit/s transmit but packet loss on receive for udpmon spacing > 8us. Action All: Add test systems to table in wiki. Action All: Share access to test PCs Action: Create lists of protocols and data moving tools to test. Action: Prepare index of technical report on protocols and data moving tools MS6 M7

Prepared more detailed questions on network and storage for the WP2 Questionnaire. Waiting for WP2 to prepare the full questionnaire; Test of questions to be made in Italy Germany and Netherlands (??) Had meeting with GARR and spoke about the future of solid state storage - price is expected to come down and speed will be much faster than HDD. Waiting for information from WP2 Action Mauro: send Richard email of details to be raised at the MT-5 meeting Wednesday. Action Richard: Prepared Google drive for WP4 to enable doc exchange.
