IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT ISSUE WITH TRAINS. From Schiphol airport to Hoogeveen, there are no trains on the regular route via Almere and Lelystad. There is a severe technical issue - 'storing'. Choose the train route via 'Amersfoort' - this will show up in the NS train trip planner. This journey takes a bit longer than the usual route via Almere/Lelystad. If you have already booked the taxi from Hoogeveen to Dwingeloo in an early stage, please look at https://www.ns.nl/en again to double-check your arrival time. Please check the NS planner also one day before - the train schedule via Amersfoort is more dynamic than usual.

Taxi to/from ASTRON - important to pre-book on time!
- From Hoogeveen to ASTRON: via taxi, about 20 minutes. Costs: Eur 36,25.
- To benefit from this rate, participants should prebook their taxi via the ASTRON reception: reception@astron.nl. If multiple participants arrive at the same time, rides will be combined.
- Please mention: arrival date + time at Hoogeveen, your name and if you will pay cash to the taxi driver or via bank card (PIN) at the ASTRON reception (this can also be done the next day, thanks). Name of taxi company: taxi Ellerie
- Note: there are no taxi's at Hoogeveen railway station.
