Block reservations have been made at 3 hotels near ASTRON. Bus transportation will be arranged between the hotels and ASTRON (schedule will follow)
1. 26 rooms at Fletcher hotel De Borken in Dwingeloo (2 kilometres from ASTRON)
Price: 89 Euro per room per night, including breakfast, excl. VAT and tourist tax. To make a reservation: mail to info@hoteldeborken.nl using reference code CASP080925-F59. End date for reservations: 15 August. After this date, reservations are at the basis of availability and prices may go up.
2. 8 rooms at Hotel Wesseling in Dwingeloo (3.5 kilometres from ASTRON)
Price: 92,5 per room per night, excluding breakfast 14,50 excl. VAT and tourist tax. To make a reservation: mail to info@hotelwesseling.nl using reference CASPER. End date for reservations: 8 August. After this date, reservations are at the basis of availability and prices may go up.
3. 35 rooms at Van der Valk hotel Spier-Dwingeloo (6,5 kilometres from ASTRON).
Price: 246 per room per night including breakfast, excluding tourist tax. To make a reservation: mail to fom@spier.valk.nl using reverence CASPER CONFERENCE. End date for reservations: 1 August.

Train tickets:

Print the ticket of load into the NS app – showing the PDF on your phone is not valid!
Use the barcode of the ticket to open the gates at the station. You don’t need to check in or check out when you purchase a ticket online.

Before boarding the train, you must always check in with debit card or creditcard (or OV chipkaart if you have this). You can do this at a pole or gate at the entrance to the station. Don’t forget to check out when you are leaving the train!
TRANSPORTATION DURING THE CONFERENCE
As mentioned above, we will arrange bus transportation from/to the hotels during the conference and from/to Hoogeveen railway station arrival and departure. The schedule will follow.
