We are pleased to invite you to participate in an upcoming workshop focused on the Planetary Radio Interferometry and Doppler Experiment (PRIDE).

 

PRIDE is an experimental technique designed to enhance the science return of planetary missions by utilizing near-field phase-referencing Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI) and Doppler tracking of the spacecraft's radio signals. 

 

This workshop will provide a valuable opportunity to:

 

• Discuss the current status and planning of PRIDE observations during the ESA's JUICE cruise phase], including the upcoming Venus flyby, which serves as an important test for our procedures.
• Review the progress on the integration of PRIDE observations with the mission operations.
• Explore opportunities for observations with other missions.
• Highlight the latest developments in our planning and scheduling software designed to optimize PRIDE observations
• Present the potential of PRIDE data for improving orbit determination, gravity measurements, and the accuracy of planetary and satellite ephemerides.

 

Your expertise and contributions are crucial as we move forward with the PRIDE experiment and the JUICE mission is on its way to Jupiter.
