Please note: The last version of the timetable will be uploaded on Tuesday Morning 13 March

On 14 & 15 March 2018 we will create the opportunity to discuss products and results obtained in ASTERICS with all ASTERICS contributors.

The goal of this meeting is to provide a place and time to discuss results, developments and issues with colleagues at different partners/institutes doing similar work, and to stimulate collaboration. How can you help your fellow ASTERICS colleagues and how can they help you advance in your work?

What we intend to do is have everyone actively interact during the meeting. We do not want long presentations. We want to give everyone the chance to discuss their topic in a small groups of interested people. In order to find such a group, you can announce what you want to talk about in a short pitch. After that you will gather a group of interested people around a table and discuss the subject for 60 minutes. We will have several of these sessions, so you can discuss different subjects in different settings. You can bring in subjects to discuss, results to present, questions to be asked, to make it as lively as possible. We do not organize a big projection screen for all small groups, but presenting things from your laptop is possible.

Instruction for the short pitches
You will have 5 minutes and can use 1 slide to introduce the topic you want to discuss in the break-out sessions. You are free to pitch without the use of a slide.
If you prefer to have a slide up we will need your information ultimately 12 March 13:00. Please note that if you do not send a slide before the deadline we will not show this on the screen. We need to have 1 document of all slides beforehand due to the tight schedule.
