The proposed forum builds on initial discussions at the WLCG pre-GBD Meeting in CERN and the cross-community forum held at the annual WLCG meeting in Manchester.

This Open Forum on AAAI in scientific computing is intended to provide a structured discussion on the pros and cons of existing mechanisms, the underlying reasons for their original implementation and to speculate on the potential for change in this area in the near future. It is intended to draw on community experience from across particle physics, astronomy and other disciplines.
