The conference will take place at CEDEX. The Centro de Estudios y Experimentación de Obras Públicas O.A. y M.P. (CEDEX) is an innovative and avant-garde public body capable of tackling the problems of civil engineering and the environment in a global and neutral manner. It’s located in the heart of Madrid (Calle Alfonso XII, 3), next to the Real Observatorio de Madrid.
The Real Observatorio de Madrid houses the Observatorio Astronómico Nacional, which, together with the Yebes Observatory, is dedicated to scientific and technological research in radio astronomy at the IGN. The Real Observatorio de Madrid is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Paisaje de la Luz, which offers a rich cultural experience. From its very beginnings, the activities carried out at the Real Observatorio de Madrid have covered the fields of astronomy and Earth sciences: solar and stellar physics, celestial mechanics, instrumentation development, official timekeeping, applications in geodesy and cartography, geomagnetism, seismology and meteorology.
