The IAA is within walking distance (less than 15 minutes) from the city center. Parking is free in the area but it is extremely difficult to find a spot if you arrive after 8am. The advise is, if you have a car, to leave it at the parking of your hotel, and walk.
The best way to reach Granada from abroad is by plane. The Airport of Granada is at 20 minutes driving from Granada downtown and is connected with the International Airports of Madrid, Barcelona and London. The fastest way to get the city is by a taxi. The cost is about 30€ from the airport to the city centre. For those on a budget and with patience there is a regular bus service (on the right end of the terminal as you exit), which takes you to the city center for about 3€, with a final stop next to Hotel Saray. The journey by bus should take less than 1 hour.
There is also an International Airport with connections with all major European hubs in Málaga, at 130 km from Granada. This is 1h30 away from Granada by car and there are many easy options to get Granada: direct bus from the airport, car rental (one can get good fares with e.g. Enterprise) or shared taxis.
Hotels
Participants are requested to arrange and pay for their own hotel reservation.
Although the deadline of the 'hotel blockings' has passed, in these two hotels:

Dinner location and costs
There will be a dinner on 18 October 20:00 CET in Granada city centre. Costs of the dinner are 50 Euros per person to be paid in cash at the meeting desk. Cancellation is possible until 11 October. Late cancellations still require payment of 50 Euros. You can give your seat to someone else at the last moment. Please register for the dinner if you wish to join.
